OH SO SIMPLE RECIPES
MixiSquares are great on their own, but if you're feeling adventurous, we dare you to try them in one of these easy recipes.
TO PREPARE FILLING: Mix together cream cheese, confectioners sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk.
TO ASSEMBLE PASTRY BRAID: Roll out puff pastry sheet to an 11 inch square. Place on a greased baking sheet. Make 3-inch horizontal cuts on both sides of pastry at 1-inch intervals. Sprinkle MixiSquare crumbs down center third of pastry. Top with cream cheese filling. Then top with strawberry preserves. Fold outside pastry strips over filling, alternating sides.
TO BAKE: Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake for approximately 20 minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown. Let cool.

TO PREPARE FILLING: Cut 2 frozen Blueberry Bomb MixiSquares into small pieces. Pulse in a food processor to form coarse crumbles. Form into 8 slightly flattened brownie truffle balls. Chill while preparing cookie dough.
TO PREPARE COOKIE DOUGH: Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Set aside. Mix butter and 1 cup sugar in a large bowl. Mix in egg and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Divide cookie dough into 8 pieces. Wrap each piece of cookie dough around a MixiSquares brownie truffle ball, covering completely.
TO PREPARE SUGAR COATING: Mix together remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar. Roll cookies in sugar mixture.
Bake 12-14 minutes on a greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees.

TO PREPARE FILLING: Cut 2 frozen Strawberry MixiSquares into small pieces. Pulse in food processor to form coarse crumbles. Form into 8 slightly flattened cake balls. Chill while preparing cookie dough.
TO PREPARE COOKIE DOUGH: Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, and spices. Set aside. Mix butter, brown sugar, and molasses in a large bowl. Stir in dry ingredients and chocolate chips. Divide cookie dough into 8 pieces. Wrap each piece of cookie dough around a MixiSquares cake ball, covering completely.
Bake 12-14 minutes on a greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees. Cool to room temperature, if you can wait that long.
